3" Buschur Cat-Back and Intake review

So I recieved my cat back and intake yesterday from Buschur. Pulled it out of the box and was kinda dumb founded. $850 exhaust and it had clamps instead of flanges with gaskets with the exception of where it bolts to the stock mid-pipe. Maybe I am misinformed but in my past experience flanges and gaskets are superior and almost all of the exhausts I have bought had flanges and gaskets. I am not knocking buschur at all just not what I expected.

Anyways...

The bends and welds on the exhaust are awesome. Very high quality and I am very pleased. Fitment was no problem except for having to remove the heatshield as the new exhaust flange that bolted to the stock mid-pipe was larger and wouldnt fit inside the heatshield. The exhaust sounds great and looks great with the dual tips also.

The intake was straightforward. Remove tock airbox and clamp on the cone filter. You can hear the turbo spool up now and the bov is a little more aparent.

After installing both the butt dyno definately feels a difference.

So thumbs up for buschur racing

Thank you for the review.

As a side note, flanges add weight and considerable cost to an exhaust. You have to fumble with bolt/washers/nuts and they all have to make it into the box when we ship it and then they have to be found and not thrown out with the packing

We are known for the slip fit design of our exhausts. It is also darn near the best transition you can make from one pipe to another, no mis-aligned flanges that hurt the flow of the exhaust system.

Thanks for the order, glad you are pleased with the system.

I see another vendor must have liked it too, they just about flat out copied it!

lol... who?

nah... don't answer that. I'll poke around myself and try and find out who it was. I don't want it to get ugly in here.

At any rate, I'll most likely be getting this exhaust as well. Just collecting a few more funds. Buscher FTW!!
