Unhappy Problem....

So I was playin with a 240sx last night, around mid 4th gear it hit boost/fuel cut, its happened a couple times since i had the car, it would go into "limp mode" and all i had to do was disconect/reconect the ECU and it was fine but this time that wasnt the case, i checked ALL the pipeing, everything looks fine... its feels like there is a boost leak ( wont go past 2lbs, but again everything looks fine..... I dissconect the battery and ECU this morning right after I got to work...........any ideas.....?

V/R,
Daniel

EDIT : see post #9 & 15 please....

the moral of the story is: keep an eye on sneaky 240sx drivers that pull your cold pipes off

Wow almost 4 months since this happen ( only "problem" ive ever had with the car ).....

So im driving normal this morning, light turns green, I go normally and no boost, i thought it happen again with one of the pipes coming off but that wasnt it, reset the ecu, nothing, thought maybe my MBC went bad so i hooked the stock controller back up, nothing...

Car is "driveable" but it wont go into boost at all, im home now and letting it cool down so i can take off the intake and see if i can move the compressor wheel, hopefully it moves which means the turbo ISNT seized.........any one have any input...?
.

so i check everything again and rechecked all piping/clamps/hoses/couplers.....no boost, took of the intake to see if i could touch the compressor wheel to see if i could route it with my finger but theres a solid extension that points up on the turbo that i cant get off so i cant get to the compressor wheel to see if i can rotate the wheel............idk...

Is your car throwing any codes (Service Engine Soon, Check Engine, etc.)?

What mods do you have?
