Stock Turbo Boost management solution - WGA & EBC

I wanted to report that we are having some really great boost control and boost holding through the power band on the X's by using a combo of the Forge upgraded WGA along with an Electric Boost Controller

We have has really good bost holding without any spikes with this kind of set up

Just an FYI for customers looking to hold more boost on the top end

Al

Probably HKS EBC 6, seems to be a nice piece of equipment.

Aren't boost controllers a no no without some sort of flash? Cant you tune boost with ecutek? I know you can with ECUflash. I don't see a point of an MBC or EBC on an EVO X if its going to trigger part throttle CEL's. Just get it tuned and be done with it.

Just wondering what spring you guys were using? was it the red??
Also my forge actuator reciept says the rod is 10mm shorter than piston type!? what affect will this have? They built actuator to my requirements... which is a held 26 psi... I was supplied with the red spring installed and two spares, 1x blue and 1x white spring.

Thanks,
GAMBIT

Wow, can you be anymore vague? Why haven't you logged to show us this improved boost response or at the very least give us some numbers?

This was on an old stock Blitz SBC

We have also used HKS EVC 6 with great results

My favorite EBC is the turbo smart and I am a Turbo Smart dealer for the E Boost 2

Sorry, I have been very busy with travel in the past two weeks - I have been to Texas - Florida and now I am in El Salvador so I have not had a chance to do much in terms of charts

We are using Ecutek to tune the car which affords us the chance to run what ever air flow and boost levels we want without cel's as we adjust the maps in the ecu to accept our new targets
