Yup, finally got my tracking # too. should have it late next week. I too am wondering how far to go without supporting mods (I only have intake / exhaust right now). Tune will be a must and I hear 780 injectors are too, but I might hold off on the FMIC since it's friggin winter anyway. I also don't plan to change the downpipe, O2 stuff or BOV, and the cat has to stay.

Maybe I'll do the FMIC along with cams and another tune this summer. E85 is still on the table too.

Think you might be able to help me with some base line maps? I am still waiting for my cable to get here. Then I can start the install.

what are the requirements for the fp red on the x? my friend that works on vr6s said i would have to rebuild my motor. i found that completely rediculous and untrue. all i need are bigger fuel injectors right? i already have an intake. about to get my exhaust next month.

Larger injectors, fuel pump, and a tune and you'll be good to go. I would do the exhaust beforehand or at the same time as the turbo install.

You just need to upgrade the injectors, full pump if you are going to run high boost and re-tune the car.
We have been running 35psi of boost with VP for long time on the stock engine and a lot of 10 sec pass. On the stree we run 24 psi without any problem for more than a year with this turbo.
