can someone pls clarify this for me. That dyno someone posted with
loss of power @ low rpm plus minimal gains up top really threw me for a loop.

I have a gsr and was thinking about getting the UR version with a tune of course. but will pass if everybody was getting same results as above.

sorry to resurrect the dead horse but my thread search has yielded nothing conlclusive.

now i shall put my flame jacket on

Not sure on what others have done with their dp's but we've seen 14hp and 32Tq gain from our car and we just saw 7hp and 27Tq gain from a customers car . And no lost of power .

well Ive heard of this also with the aftermarket 02 housings resulting in power loss due to too big of an inlet brands such as invidia who go with a 4in housing. I went with the megan and did not loose any power whatsoever on my stock turbo. i dont know if this helps..

You are somewhat correct on that which is why we do not just sell any products just to say we sell them . Now , lost of power may be due to adding on a product which the car has no supporting mods for and thus giving you a bit of a lost .

You'll find lot of conflicting info on this one. Everyone that has tested one on a GSR has made decent gains with it. Mr Buchur tested one on an MR and supposedly lost power with it. A lot of speculation was flying around about the ECU in the MR perhaps limiting power or what not but until someone tests it again on an MR with ECU software to log what is happening on all the sensors, it is hard to say. Bottom line? On a GSR yes it makes power go for it! I love my UR downpipe!

I agree with Guru... I have the UR o2/downpipe combo and I love it. Removal of the factory o2 housing is downright awful, but install of the UR is easy. Buy it. You won't be disappointed.

I have a GSR on stock tune (2nd reflash), AEM intake, UR 02/DP, HFC and exhaust and pulled 296/302 on a Mustang.

I'd say that something made the power and the catback didn't make 50hp on it's own.
