Question Wideband Oxygen Sensor on Downpipe or Test Pipe?

Ok, so I am about to order a test pipe w/ high-flow cat from UR. They offer and optional Wideband Bung. I plan on going with a Zeitronix ZT2 wideband.
So, my question is where is the best place to mount the O2 sensor on the test pipe or on the downpipe? Would one location give more accurate data then the other?

Although there is a minimal difference, it's better to have it closer to the engine to get AFR readings with the least delay. So the answer to your question would be to have it on the DP.

36 inches from the exhaust port on your head will work just fine.

Downpipe.
Faster readings and less gaskets/flanges before the sensor. A small exhaust leak leans out AFR.

The stock donut gasket leaks many times on the OEM downpipe. We have installed ours sensor in the testpipe and have been doing so for years with great results.

Let us know when you are ready for a Zeitronix ZT2 and we'll get one to you the next day as we are the master distributor in your area.

Normally, we suggest downpipe. However having the extra bung on the test pipe makes it easier to access.

I just installed my AEM Uego, on to my UR DP, and so far great and precise readings.
