Get tuned first... then add the intake. bet $$$ right now you will NOT see 20 hp

The only reason why it would get 20 hp, is because the stock tune is so rich, the intake will lean things out up top, thus producing the 20 hp.

IMHO.... get yourself a great drop in filter, and save $500.00.

Just my .02

Unless you blowing money on JDM bling that "looks nice"

You are perfectly fine with your HKS Drop in. Stay "stealth"

Spend your money : O2 housing/Down Pipe, Race Cat, or Test Pipe, and a nice free flowing stealth exhaust.

If you have the extra money, grab yourself a nice
Front Mount Intercooler, AMS, Buschur, ETS
3" LOWER Intercooler Pipe
2.5" Upper Intercooler Pipe

I would probably get the Upper in Black, since it screams at you once you pop the hood, so in case your worried about the police, the stealth option is the way to go.

As far as tuners go, I've heard nothing but great things about Sean Ivey... I think he is in New Jersey... don't know how far away you are.

350 - 400 shouldn't be to hard to obtain with the right combo of parts.

If you want something to pass a visual inspection, make sure to get BLACK inter cooler piping.

You will need a HFC (high flow cat) .

Cops pop your hood in Cali... I can't speak personally about PA... but I know they have been cracking down the last couple years.

The ARC intake is a work of art.

Sometimes it's a matter paying less and getting something that'll work just as well. But it's a matter of getting what YOU want.

I will not say for sure. But you might be able to replace everything on the exhaust system and keep just the cat pipe (OEM). I hear the evo 10 cat is very efficient. And that's all you need for emisions pretty much. Best of luck.

what do you think of cobb hard pipe?i was leaning towards cobb bec. they have the quads exhaust comming out beside they aLREADY HAVETHE CATTED PIPE AND THE DOWN PIPE.is it good just to stick with all cobb products except the intake since they made the ap.?i know for sure when they make the stages maps on ap available to the public , then they give you hp & tq gains. but all the product in their test car are all cobb?right? instead of buying each parts and then they dont match and youre not sure if they make power or loose some with those combination. any ideas of good combo?suggestions

sorry to have to break it to you but cobb isan't coming out with that exhaust for a while if not at all i wouldn't hold my breath you are better off selecting another option. if you go to the forums selection on their website you'll get all the information you need on why. I believe tho they eliminated one of their departments forgot which one tho. you might be able to find it on these threads on this site or on evoxforums.com
