Stock FMIC / upgraded turbo?

Has anyone run the stock FMIC with a bigger turbo X? Curious to see the results...

I don't have any results to post...but I think enough are out there to show how much an upgraded IC will benefit almost any power mod, even with the stock turbo.

If I were you I'd get one. You're just leaving gains on the table without one and an upgraded turbo.

Yeah, I would buy an upgraded intercooler before I would a bigger turbo.

I have an FP Red and it hauls even with the stock IC and the stock catback. I've got UR O2/downpipe/test pipe and homemade intake. I also have custom IC piping with a BOV upgrade. Running it all with ECUflash using PLX gauges for tuning. Running 22 PSI so far with NO problems and not running out of fuel yet. I suspect with the exhaust and the IC upgrade (which I'll be installing this weekend) I may start running out of injector but bang for the buck, the turbo and just the UR pieces with a flash is incredible upgrade.

Nice this great news for I've been wanting to get a RED for awhile now.

Glad to hear it! Any chance of dyno'ing that baby before and after the FMIC install? You're on stock injectors too? Wow.

Update! I am now running a 4 inch core made by a fellow evom member. Quite a difference! Boost jumped 2 psi instantly! I backed it back down to 22 psi and still pulls harder! AF perfectly in check and now just have to get my cat back made.
