i would recirc it but i dont have the right sized diameter to mate up with the coupler on the intake.
the recirc sound is a bit more muffled with the ssqv (i had it recirc'd on my last car). It is still noticeable.
about the dirtiness... let me put it this way. I bought the car last august and i just topped 18000 miles.... the driving to cleaning ratio is definitely tipping to the driving side and in the winter that leads to a LOT of dirt.
edit: i might have a vid of how it sounded in cabin in my old car... lemme look.

i have the hks ssq in the limited black and i love it.
i got agp set up with hks race suction intake and have the hks ssq recirculat into the intake great sound no problems

okay all this talk about it doesnt have compression surge and it cant have boost leak is that all for the EVO X cause I have the EVO IX making around 360whp at 23 LBS tuned by Vivid Racing In Phoenix, AZ and mitch the tuner says its the HKS SSQV needs to be recirced but i dont know, sorry for my ignorance guess there is a lot more to know then i thought
