South Side Performance in S.D. is about to release upgraded clutchs for the gtr trans.since the mr trans is similiar to the gtr trans,same concept.I asked them if they could do something for the evo x mr guys.here is there response.



What types of power are you wanting the clutches to hold?

Are you located in the US? We can design any type of clutch. If you could get me a car, it would take about 30 days or so. The person that volunteers there vehicle will get them installed for free and also get two sets of the clutches for there troubles.

If you can get me in contact with a EVO or its transmission I will custom make you the first set out there. Or find someone close to me that has a vehicle that can give it up for 30 days. All labor and parts will be free. Do you know of anyone?

I sent an email to them asking some questions. He answered back in a very reassuring manner saying that along with their clutch pack upgrade they were going to recommend a better trans cooler. So I'm guessing they are in the process of making a clutch upgrade our X MR.

.... Fu** Yeah!

 

I am liking this news. Is anyone in SD in contact with these guys yet? If I was anywhere close I would be on this fo sho.
