Did new clutch fix your Notchiness?

A question for those who have swapped clutches.....

Did replacing your clutch resolve your transmission shifting problems?

I ask because since day one I have felt the clutch is dragging and could get the car to move forward on flat ground when putting into first gear.

No, it's the gearbox that's notchy.

Yeah and for me it's only second gear. All others are great. If it was a clutch engagement issue, it would affect all gears.

Can't speak for Exedy or any other clutches, but ACT didn't get rid of the notchiness.

Exedy Twin Metallic here and it made no difference. As stated above, it has nothing to do with the clutch, it's the gears/syncros causing the notchiness.

OK...so we have several reported no change after clutch change... I guess this leads us to a tranny build. Anyone here allow TRE or SHEP to look at the tranny? Maybe they can find the issue.

I think there may be a link with some who had the first gearbox oil change done when the clutch was done, others did the oil early on before the clutch, oil change to something decent helped my shift a lot
