I have a custom cat-back exhaust on my evo with no mufflers. I love the sound but cops are starting to recognize my car so im thinking of quieting it down a bit but do want to sacrifice to much performance. Has anyone taken out the resonator put on a test pipe and use the stock mufflers? Want to try it but wondering if anyone has already and how loud will it leave the car? Thanks

 

Add a muffler or two to your current exhaust. Use a straight through muffler like a Magnaflow, it'll quiet down the exhaust and you won't lose a single hp.

 

Okay. Ill try that after i get pulled over one more time for my exhaust. Never been ticketed for it though just warnings on it.
