High Flow Cat Options?

Hey I'm looking for a high flow cat to go with the buschur 3" quiet catback. The only ones I can find are

1 - AMS $340
2 - UR $300

Anyone know of any others?

Ha, i just posted on this in another thread.

- CP-e has a "quick power pipe" that you can get with a cat
- specialty-x has a hfc
- T1R has a HFC as well
- Perrin has a combo hfc and downpipe

I would post up links but i dont know who is a vendor on here or not.

^ Yea, i was waiting on mil.spec for about 8 months hoping they would release a bolt on part so i didnt have to get a donor test pipe.

I finally gave up and got the CP-e since i needed to start logging afr's

are you looking to stay "legal" or for sound? If it's sound, I would recommend the UR resonated or mini-muffler test pipe. If you're looking to stay "legal" then go with HFC, although you being in Florida, an HFC would just be a waste of $$$ IMHO

I'm trying to stay legal. I don't plan on staying in FL for more than a year or two or whenever I finish grad school.

If I decide to throw a test pipe on for ****s and giggles it shouldn't affect my AFR much right? Flames FTW.

test pipe = faster spool and possible flames if you don't retune.

And HFCs DEFINITELY make a difference over the stock cat.

exactly....not to mention legal.

I am sure there are some around here, but I am curious as to what the actual gains are of a HFC vs. a TP. I can't imagine they are huge.

Even if it was 10whp I would want to keep it legal over that.

I got the Buschur 3" Quiet Catback for a reason. No need to be loud and obnoxious at 400bhp.

There was a thread earlier comparing URs test pipe vs hfc and the testpipe made more power thoughout the band but the peak was the same, and it wasn't that much more power.
