My evo 8 clutch was never changed. I sold the car at 50K and it didn't look like it was slipping any time soon. My evo x hopefully will have the same luxury. It's all about how you drive it.

im a 7k on mine got 20+ 2step launchs. Still holding strong. I could not hook up at the track the last time I went. (videos to prove under drag racing section) But I can make slip little so don't hop all over place then clutch won't hold it. So you going mod I say get clutch I am. 6 puck.

I have just over 20K on my stocker, and I have been tuned since about 10K. Still holding strong. It's all about how you drive.
This is my 4th manual car.

I think we have established its all about how you drive, if you abuse it or suck at driving it won't last. This isn't new information guys. The stock clutch is fine, some people speculate mitsu screwed up but as this thread shows we are all doing just fine with it.

If you want to get 100k out of a clutch buy a Civic. I have never had clutchs last more than
30k on any of my cars. But then I love the track.

I just hit 80,000 miles on my stock clutch, has anyone reached the 100,000 mile mark?

Passed 100K

Coming up on 118K, still no signs of slipping yet.

118K Wow! I'm OP and that's reassuring. I ended up buying a new GSR in 2010, now have 26K miles with no clutch problems. Biggest concern with replacement is potential collateral damage; getting in there is much more difficult than the rw drive cars I'm use to wrenching on.
