Question FP Black for Evo X? anyone?

FP Black is out for the 8 and 9?

https://secure.buschurracing.com/cat...oducts_id=1427

it is not even on the FP site.

anyone know if FP Black is available for our car or not since FP fit the 9's red wheel onto a X turbo to make the red for the X.

will the same thing happen to black.

that mean we will have the black soon if the 9s black wheel can fit onto our turbo.

i suggest just wait, until further testing and real facts have been put out there on black and white. dont get me wrong this looks like a stellar turbo but i would patiently wait and see what this turbo can offer other than hp gains

They JUST released the FP Green!
I think you're going to be waiting a while.

Hmmm 60+ whp gains on Buschur's dyno is no joke either, but I agree the Black for Evo X will likely be some time as they don't know how the stock Evo X housing would work with that wheel combo yet.

If my GT3076r turbo ever needs a rebuild, I'll likely be sending it to Forced Performance to have it rebuilt and machined for larger wheels like this. I'm thinking that the larger housing would start to come alive with those higher flow wheels.

The problem on the EVOX is simply that the car is so new that really large turbos just are not going to be that effective yet. Give the ecu, camshaft and intake manifold guys a year or two to catch up, then maybe. Most of these cars still have stock cams and stock ECU, no real point in fitting huge turbos at the moment.

It's not as simple as just swapping the wheels since the Evo 9's turbo spins the opposite direction of the Evo 10's turbo.
