Can you hear the turbo and BOV with the AEM intake?

i have the lid off of mine, it sounds louder but i didnt buy it to make sounds,

i will be putting the lid back on here in the next few days, i was hoping it would draw fresh air in from the hood vents

Get the Agency Power.. They have K&N cone filter.

Yeah the price is reasonable and it has a heat shield, but again Cobb doesn't support that intake.

I am running the agp cold air intake with a cobb stage 2 with the injen intake and it runs fine but u could always get a custom tune

I have the AEM intake and as indicated by others, removing the lid will dramatically enhance the sound of the spooling and blow-off. It was like night and day.

I honestly bought the AMS intake for the sound. The BOV sound is awesome although I could say the "spooling" is kinda too much for me.

for the sound on the aem intake all you have to do is either remove the lid or jus dont but the box in when installin the intake...plan and simple....

The box acts as a heat shield so I wouldnt remove the whole thing. Good idea on removing the top though.
