ATP 35r bolt on turbo?? any users??
dam i cant pick a choice. the only reason why im debating getting the atp 35r is beacuse no other evo x on this forum has got it and has been able to say if its work it or not.
i made up my mind and going to get the atp 35r. thanx spdracerut for all the info. i should have it by 2 or 3 weeks then i would just need injectors and pump to get it started. plan on doing cams rods and pistons by the summer. ill keep you guys posted
Nice, if you need help with some of the basic setup feel free to PM me or post here. Make sure you get at least 1000cc injectors and larger if planning on using E85. With some Mivec tricks I'm sure we can get the spool quite good for a turbo that large although I'll be very surprised if 20 psi can be reached before 4000 rpm.
Double Pumper is likely the best bet, a walbro single in-tank will only get you to 600 crank HP although you may be ok with an inline upgrade in tandem with the stock in-tank.
Yea I just hope it all works out. im just crossing my fingers on this one. ill be happy at around 500+ at low boost.

i would love to run e85 but the closest pump around here is about 20miles away and i just dont wanna deal with it. i was planing on runing 100% alcky but im going to try to do it just on 93. i see plenty of people doin over 500 and even 600 on pump gas. is it really that hard?? what would i need to do to get 500+ on pump???
Could always spray a little meth to up the boost/timing for more power.
The ATP kit, with Full-Race manifold and Cosworth cams should make some really good numbers.
ATP got 500whp on their dyno running E85, stock cams, stock exhaust manifold. Supposedly, ATP's dyno reads the same as GST. So switch from E85 to 93 octane, add in the exhaust manifold and cams.... should make it close....
Aside from the fact that look like the laggiest pos ever with about 500rpm's of powerband....you have an Evo 9, not an X...wrong section.
Oh, and bumping a thread that has been dead for months is fail.
