Recirculating the BOV is not going to get rid of the flutter. It's fluttering because the BOV is doing it's job properly and staying closed at part throttle. A little part throttle flutter is nothing to worry about and you're never going to completely get rid of it.

Ok so I recirc it today and it didn't change one thing still flutters really bad lol so the stocker is rocking again. Just in case anyone plans on buying one it doesn't work and I think the spring is too tight like was mentioned. Thanks guys.

I run the HKS on my Evo....does it have the adjustment screw on the top or is it the newer model with no adjustment?? It will flutter if you let off the gas at lower boost levels because that is what it is suppose to do that is the small valve doing its thing. If its the newer version with no adjustment chances are the spring is too tight to allow the larger valve to do its thing unless you are coming out of full boost. The recirc wont help the flutter but it will make your car run much better. Never had any issues with mine at stock boost as I can remember but stock boost level was so long ago :P

No

I used the HKS for awhile and now I run the Tial 50mm. Car still runs and drives perfect.

Mine fluttered bad at all RPMs and it's the new version so no adjustment screw :s just bad luck I guess and I don't really wanna take it apart and remove one of the springs or anything to mess it up.

i also had an HKS SSQ bov on my evo and it beguin to surge like crazy.. so what i did was i bought a whole kit of new pipes from ETS because i wanted to get rid of the check engine light.. (5"intercooler+hot pipe+cold pipe+intake and at the same time i had to chose between SYNAPSE BOV OR TURBOSMART BOV.. those are the bov that WONT give you surge in your turbo... HKS is when you upgrade your turbo..

The bov caused surge because it was not leaking. It was doing it's job. You were tuned for a leaky bov and when that leak was eliminated you had surge. It's not the bov fault.

That's what I was thinking too, so some people may be using the term fluttering when actually it's surging.

that's why you only modify what you actually need.
