Damn clutch master cylinder broke today
Yea i have the ACT Xtreme heavy duty street disk so im hoping itll be ok without the upgraded plunger. SSP said it would be perfectly fine so im going to run with it.
yes, your MC is most likely going to give up sooner or later. Get the AMS reinforcement ring if you're on a budget and cannot return the OEM part or the SSP MC kit if you got cash.

If you go SSP, get the Plunger AND the MC if possible, for everlasting peace of mind, so to speak.

Thanks for the help!
I recommend buying the upgraded plunger too when you order the SSP MC, SSP released it days after I had their MC installed. After 2k miles with the SSP MC and stock plastic plunger, the plunger snapped in two pieces while driving. I do have the exedy stage 2 HD, so guess it was a matter of time.
I have no clue unfortunately. My knowledge is completely limited to the X and X alone. I read up a lot even during work about the X and it takes up too much time. If I started following the other stuff too, I'd have to leave my job
. Sorry I couldn't be of help. You're at the mercy of your own search capabilities or other more knowledgeable people on the forum on that one I'm afraid.
sorry it toke so long for me to answer. its an awesome piece, shifters are smoother, so far so good. i havent had to replace the seal. i havent looked at the color of the brake fluid.
Yup thats about what i got out of the stock MC with AMS ring with the exedy stage 2 hd also. Mine never broke but i could tell it was about to go, the pedal felt loose and the engagment point was way lower then usual.
Thats really troubling that they fail after basic bolt ons and a upgraded clutch. I know the better clutches put more stress on the stock CMC but they should have been designed a little better. Makes you wonder what else was designed barely good enough.
