intercooler ?

intercooler ?

i heard by adding an intercooler causes u to lose power.. anyone kno if this is true?

From my understanding it doesn't directly cause u to gain or lose HP, its a piece to ur Modding puzzle that can indirectly cause u to gain HP cause it helps keep the air flowing through ur engine cooler

based on the reading ive done and dyno results ive seen....it looks like the guys with an upgraded intercooler are making 10-20whp more than guys on stock intercooler with stock turbo.

With no tuning we noticed the following on the X.

15whp with the 3.0"
17whp with the 3.5"
22whp with the 4.0"

This was on our shop X.

It helps the turbo to breath better and cooler. more HPs , I had some noticeable changes after only changing my intercooler pipes.

what about with tuning? i dont see why someone would install one and not tune it after

ETS has great products and customer service. I have their intercooler pipes and they fit perfectly. I'd go for their 3.5" intercooler, i promise you wont regret it.
