Misfire Cylinder 1?

Misfire Cylinder 1?

Hey my evo x has been idling rough and i brought it in to get my codes read adn they guy said it was a misfire on cylinder 1, what should i look for?
-fouled spark plugs
-cracked spark plugs?
What else could cause this

yes and yes + everything in the entire ignition system. sometimes you can have a bad plug with no visable defects. make sure everything is properly grounded too.

I had a misfire on cylinder #3 with my stock plugs on my below set up. Put in the colder heat range HKS's and no more misfire. When I pulled my stock plugs they all looked good but apparently something was not working on one plug.

Last misfire code i had was the random misfire....and then a few hours later...my motor exploded

LOL way to ease the mind. After my misfires, as I had many, I did a compression leak down test to make sure my motor was still healthy. Luckily it was.

I try

First code i ever had and the last one...i just had to rip that stupid POS IROC camaro a new a hole...he was giving me crap at the stop light...then he said his carb was messed up the first time so I two stepped it the next time to really rip him one, lol. Was fun, but costly.
