looking to upgrade the clutch in my 08 x in the distint future along with a fp red..whats a good clutch for everyday and occasional track drag strip use. i was thinking maybe a act hdss with a upgraded master cylinder...my mods will consist of a fpred and everything that supports it. thanks

 

Based the amount of torque u will put down I would say the exedy stage 2 HD a lot of people get the exedy twin but I say save a little bit of money and get a good exedy clutch that will match the amount of torque and keep a good pedal feel, from what I've felt

 

Im going with Exedy HD twin.

 

If you're on pump then the HDSS would be fine. If E85 then I'd suggest the six puck sprung.

There are plenty of us running ACT HD without a master cylinder upgrade. I have a Magnus on-hand, though, since the price is right.
