grinded my 2nd and 4th gear by accident can that severely damge my tranny, sorry for the n00b question im new to manual

 

one small grind shouldnt hurt it too much. If you left it sitting there grinding for a minute or two, probably do some damage to the synchros.

 

Yeah, not a whole lot to worry about grinding just one little time.

Remember to have the clutch either in or out, not sitting in the middle for a long time and if you move your hand to shift, you should have already moved your foot.

You can perfect your shifting by going slowly and you'll naturally get faster over time.
