I just tried to install my forge rs dv. Thought I had the setting correct but I dont think its set properly. It works but my stock one is louder then it. Since its late I just pulled it off and threw my stock one on and am gonna make a second attempt at it tomorrow. I kjnow the spring fully decompressed is good for 7 psi. I know its good for up to 35 psi, There are 50 clicks or 25 full roations of the adjuster between the 7psi and 35 psi. Doing math it works out to be one click is good for .56 psi of boost. Forge claims 2 clicks per 1 psi of boost. I was told the car runs at 15, peaking at 23 before dropping off to 15. So I would need to set it at 16 clicks with it completely out. I did it at 14 to be safe so it should have been good for 14 psi. I just dont fully know what to do? I need help here

Why do you think something is wrong with it? Just because it's not making as much noise as you would like?

 

no. Because I don't want to dial it in wrong and have it be too soft or too hard. If it doesn't vent right it can mess up the turbo

 

Oh, I thought you were insinuating you installed incorrectly because of the sound. Call up Forge and see what they have to tell you. Might get a quicker response that way.
