I have a problem with it seems like my rear diff or something in that area where when i turn it sounds like i have a welded diff. Does anyone know what this could be or a solution on how to fix it? thank you!

may be something with the sway bar and/or endlinks? when you turn the weight would shift could cause a clunking sound?

Spare tire not bolted down?

Do you have any suspension mods? If you do is it possible your hitting bump stops when turning?

Sound clip might help a little if you've got one.

I would not assume that its the differential, have a buddy ride with you in the back that is mechanically inclined, to hear more specifically where it's coming from. Put it on jackstands and inspect the rear suspension components, it could be the spare tire too like Nkryptd1 suggested.

If you cannot locate it you could always pay for an hour diagnostic at the dealer...

I had a similar situation with my previous car, found out that a couple wheel nuts were loose and the wheel was moving on and off the hub when I turned. If you wonder how they came loose, some kids had a go at nicking them but I came back before they even loosened all the nuts on the first one. CCTV caught everything.

I hope your issue is as simple as this.
