Exclamation Shifting Problems?

This is immensely worrying me for some reason. Every time I'm at a stop and I'm going from Neutral to 1st, or 2nd to 3rd, it makes a clicking noise when I shift it into the gear. My clutch is fully pressed in, not half or 1/3 in. I can feel it in my shift knob when doing so. I feel like I'm hurting the car every time I do this. This started happening recently, like Sunday. I've had the car for almost 3 weeks now...brand new off the lot.

The only thing I could think of is when my cousins were trying to drive my car (Why did I let them...) and when my buddy was most likely shifting horribly on the street while gunning it. But I wasn't in the car to witness the bad shifts.

Help

That click is just the dog teeth being moved to lock in the gear. It's perfectly normal.

It's like a really notchy shift from N-1 and 2-3. I can go 3-4 and 4-5 normally.

completely normal. Had the exact same problem when I picked up my car too
It'll shift smoothly within another week or so
Mine has been buttery smooth after 2000 kms

get some underhood bushings, shifter bushings, weighted shiftknob, use synchromesh fluids for you next change. you could also throw in a nice stiff front motor mount. All these items are fairly inexpensive and will make the car feel much much better.
