intake question/missing plug?

intake question/missing plug?

hey ladies and gents, i was noticing my intake has a nipple that is completely open to air, is it supposed to be this way or is it missing a plug or a cap? thanks guys here are a few pics... have a great day,

shouldn't that be the recirc for your DV ?

I can't tell from the pictures but do you have the hose coming off the valve cover already going to the intake?

Here is mine that goes into a catch can.

Hhmmm not sure ill take a full bay pic, oz that looks like the left hose foes straight u sure yougot the rigt ones circled? Thanks for the help guys much appreciated

I don't think so. If it is open and is post MAF you have un-metered air entering the intake. If that is larger than a vacuum line, check to see if you have the breather hose from the valve cover running to the intake tube. That is what should go there.

I would not run the car with it like that.

that hole has to be plugged like in the picture OZ_2435 posted.
