Big Problem.....

Anyone having issues like this....

Its starting to get worse, it seems like when the heat is going (not in AC mode) and at night with the lights on, if i am costing in neutral the rpm will down after a few seconds of coasting to around like 400rpm and i can tell by the lights are dimming. Now the car will stall when coasting at times.... I dont know if it will do it when the heat isnt on due to it being really cold out right now. Should i retune my car too a different map? Right now im running the beta 11 stage1 93oct. Also im blowing out black smoke when im under WOT.

Maybe try to reset the ecu by pulling a few of the fuses under the hood for a few secs (don't recall which ones off the top of my head sorry). See if that helps reset the idle/TB trims.

If you have any of the defrost modes on that could be causing it. Defrost actually uses A/C therefore will use your A/C compressor you should be able to hear it cycle on and off if this is the case.

do you have the heat shield on w/ your intake? I'd say it's either MAF turbulence or a bad MAF scaling.

I dont think at idle with the clutch pulled in the MAF sensor will see much turbulence. That type of issue is more likely seen with large pressure changes such as when the pedal is quickly depressed or the car goes from low to high load in a short period of time...I could be wrong though...

I don't think you can run an intake besides stock with the stage 1 beta map...Check Cobb's site or call them but I just uploaded a stage 1 into my buddy's 11' GSR and it required your Evo to be bone stock.

See what relays you have. Switch them out to blues.

When I was doing the updates on the Cobb's firmware and downloading the stage 1 map it said that the stage 1 is for a non modified EvoX. The ETS intake you have on may be a part of the problem due to the Stage 1 map(I believe it's actually a beta map) you have from Cobb. Call Cobb and ask them if you can use the ETS intake with your stage 1. I'm pretty sure there that Cobb will tell you that the intake may be harmful to the engine in conjuction with the Stage 1 on the 11' EvoX...The fuse relay is a good thing to change out as well so don't overlook that either way.
