I am assuming that you can still get 93 octane pump gas in your area. With the right tune, you should be able to run at least 24 PSI on straight 93 pump. That is with the emphasis on the "right tune."
dude he just said he can only get 91..

to the op.. run what ever ya want! but do some research

Thanks for the replys guys it's been a big help.
950cc on a green will probably be too small to run E-85 IMO. I'd kick it up to 1100's and it should support it. E-85 is 105 octane and is fairly consistent although up north they have a true summer/winter blend where it changes a few points when the season change. I think E-70 is the worst it can be up there and true E-85 being the best readily available with E-98 also available but not at any pumps.

The biggest advantage of E-85 over meth is that there is nothing additional to the stock fuel system setup that can fail. You don't have a meth reservoir that can run dry or reservoir level indicator that can malfunction making you think you still have meth, nozzle failure, wiring failure, etc. A good meth kit runs about the same price as injectors and a walbro also for that matter unless you're talking 2k+ cc injectors.

You just run the tank empty from pump gas or as low as you can get it, i.e. below the 2nd low fuel light some if possible, switch the tune's, and off you go. Other advantage, as long as E-85 is 50cents a gallon cheaper than premium you end up saving money despite the fact that E-85 burns 30% faster than pump gas, assuming a $3.50+/gallon pump gas.

If you browse the boards overall you'll find that anywhere E-85 is available it is almost always the option people choose over Meth because it is simply more reliable and easier overall.

Thanks SilverEvoX that was extremely helpful. My tuner has a huge preference to meth kit for daily driving. Probably just going to spend the right money and get a high quality kit thats less likely to fail.

Upon failure though whether it be running the tank dry or nozzle fail....what would be the result? Would that blow it up or just cause it to cut out and loose boost?

Depends on how good the fail safes in your kit are and how close you're watching everything via gauges etc. If you had it tuned to say 12.5:1 AFR with a healthy dose of meth and then the meth quit and your failsafes didn't dial timing/boost/afr back it could blow the motor. Conversly if your failsafes worked as they should it would just detune.

I have a meth kit for sale. Aquamist HFS-6, in perfect working order. Can even throw in a couple tanks and remote filler for you. Had it sitting around for a bit, willing to give a killer deal on it. PM me.

So you're saying max out your stock injectors, and then just dump in a bunch of meth?
