Running my cobb sf intake on my 11 mr w/o tune?

I've searched on this question and find no straight answer on it, and since cobb is taking forever to get ots maps for 2011+ with their own intake, I was wondering if its safe to just run the cobb cone filter without any tune? I have it just sitting in my garage from my old 08 x and want to use it if I can lol.

Just don't want to cause damage if the intake will without a tune for it. My car has a little over a thousand miles now.

Since it uses the stock MAF it should be okay. But just because it worked for someone else doesn't mean it will always work for everyone else. I had the ETS similar to Cobb and it ran fine without any tune. When I bought the AP I switched to the cobb intake for the ots map support. I have a 2010.
