Question Best BOV - evo x

Good morning - new to forum posting...

What is the best blow off valve to install on my 2011 GSR?

This is one of the first changes I am making to the engine, stock as of now, just got the car recently. Only have done cosmetics tinting, tail lights, etc. until now. Thanks!

Cobb XLE, Turbo Smart Dual Port, Forge, or STOCK….ONLY use a 100% recirculating one. I run the turbosmart b/c I wanted that "Whoooosh" sound but then it made my engine throw a hissy fit and run like **** so I made it full recirc and it's fine. Like Kracka said a pointless mod for a stock car. I only got it b/c I wanna run corn or meth and raise the boost. I've heard/read that the stocker starts to go to **** around 26-27psi

for some strange reason my stocker started to leak around 24lbs. so i just upgraded to a Tial QR. but the stocker is the best out there until you start leaking.

I run the Cobb XLE BPV at full recirc, feels exactly like the stock valve I ran on my 08.

I'm thinking u want the sound that comes with the aftermarkets, but that sound is VTA. U need to run MAP and not MAF if u want to vent to air.

Like kracka said, pointless mod for a stock car.

Save your money and just take your BOV off, block the plug off, and run with out it lots of threads of cars and racing cars that don't use one at all. Some report it is better for the track because some of the boost is still in the pipe when you get back on the gas rather then sending it to the intake and then making the turbo represher it into the pipe agen so your back at full boost faster for track use.
