Evo X Won't start

So the other day I tried to start my Evo and it just wouldn't turn over. I was thinking it was the battery, but I tried jumping it and still no luck. I have no codes, and it sounds like it gets just to the point before it turns over. I think it might be the spark plugs, but I'm not sure. Any ideas?

Check starter/selenoid for voltage.

I am no mechanic, And I would never claim to be, But with something like that I would perhaps say the starter. Could be something with seleniod not producing the voltage to start it up. The voltage is needed to turn the flywheel over to get the pistons to start up the engine. But usualy with that it would throw a code. Even just double check the alternator, but I somewhat doubt that is what it is. Check the voltage on the alternator and see what you are coming up with, then you can rule that out if it comes up with the right voltage.

If it was the alternator, I believe it would still start, because the alternator is pretty much just a generator. I'll check the starter and the solenoid tomorrow though.

You are correct, but still check it, Just to rule things out. I have seen however them completely fail and won't even start.

Just an update, I pulled the plugs. They were fouled. Replaced them, flood cleared the engine, and everything is dandy.
