Clutch Pedal Help!!!!
Clutch Pedal Help!!!!
So I was driving to work yesterday and I pushed my clutch in and it sprung to the floor. (not fell, it literally "did the oposite" of what it's supposed to do. I can pull the clutch pedal back up, and it will "spring" back into place and stay there.... until I push it in again. does anybody know what the problem is? if so, can someone tell me how to fix it and how difficult it would be to fix.
ALSO: When it happened, I wasn't driving fast, riding the clutch, or anything else. I just pushed it in, and it went to the floor. I didn't hear any noises coming from the transmission, or the engine either.

Clutch Master Cylinder is what it sounds like, is it doing this?
Are you on stock clutch? Any time you get the clutch replaced it's recommended you go ahead and upgrade the CMC. I went with the AMS one.

^That's the one I went with. You can do it yourself but I just had the shop that I went to install it when they did the clutch. You can do it yourself but its fairly difficult, I paid roughly $300 for them to install it.
I'm not sure if that's the issue for sure because I'm not sure about it "springing" to the floor, but I know that if it goes down and won't come back up, it's the CMC for sure.
