Stock front mount

How much whp can the stock front mount hold? I have 350whp on a mustang dyno and I'm looking to get a new tune. I have full bolt ons and a bigger turbo. Only thing I dont have is front mount and piping. Any idea how much

It's not how much it can hold, its the cooling properties associated with a new front mount. Being you do have a larger turbo it is forcing more/warmer air through, I would get a front mount...

AMS, ETS, and a few others have WHP "ratings" on their intercoolers. Many people argue that the OEM intercooler is perfectly matched to the OEM Turbo, while others upgrade their FMIC in an attempt to "max out" the stock turbo. I think pretty much everyone who has upgraded their turbo has an upgraded FMIC. Which turbo do you have on your car now? As far as the intercooler piping goes, one of the first mods for alot of people is the upper intercooler pipe. It stretches under high boost and causes the turbo to work harder to maintain boost levels. An upgraded UICP would eliminate that occurence, and increase throttle response.

Thank you. I have a CBRD bbk lite turbo. I'm playing on getting ultimate racing UICP and a depo front mount but I tried talking to depo to get a front mount and UICP as a bundle but haven't heard anything back.

Being out of Baltimore its not as big of a issue as us peeps down south were the temps hit over 100. With the BBK Lite, I would still go ahead and upgrade to a 3.5" intercooler.

At your power level the stock fmic is doing nothing but acting like a bottleneck. Simply replacing it while stock can yield 10-20 whp gains. I would get an aftermarket one asap.

I've compiled some options for you;

Perrin 3.5" - $900

Greddy 4.0" - $880

Buschur Racing 4.5" - $750

AMS 3.5" - $750

Works 3.5" - $700

Agency Power 3.5" - $700

ETS 4.0" - $700

Turbo XS 3" - $700

Ultimate Racing 4.5" - $700

ETS 3.5" - $600

Godspeed 3.5" - $600

AGP 3.5" - $595

Mishimoto 3.0" - $465

Depo Racing 3.5" - $330

Honestly I would go with the more popular brands such as AMS or ETS. I plan on going with the AMS 3.5"compared to the ETS 4.0" because I haven't seen a single piece of information on how many cfm's their intercooler flows while AMS has no problem providing that info.
