I can get my car to go into first or second gear at all. All the other gears work fine. has anyone else had this problem? Its driving me nuts. Supposed to be getting tuned today and I can't go anywhere.

I took off the rocker arm to make sure the plastic piece was still there and that's fine. Adjusted it all the way left and then all the way right still no change. I live in a condo with underground parking and I basically can't get out of there until I fix it. Please help

 

Put in reverse then try again.

If it's not that simple, could it be your shift stops???

Reverse uses 1st and 2nd gear instead of its own gear.

 

That was the first thing I tried, didn't have any luck

 

Is it cold where you live, because my tranny is harsh when its cold, but it still goes into gears ?

 

It is, but my car spends most of the time its parked in underground parking. I think its the shift fork. Car is sitting at the dealership now though so hopefully I'll know soon.
