Stock 08 Evo x overboost

I have a stock 08 gsr that's never modded but I keep getting overboost
It's thrown a code and gone into limbo mode
And so far bringing the car to mitsubishi has been useless
Does any one know or have an idea what it could be or had this problem before modding and possibly know how to fix it?

have you checked your vacuums for cracks or pinholes?

How do you know that the issue is overboost? What code(s) do you have?

Has it been colder than usual in your area lately?

Yes it's colder where I'm at now and there's more moisture in the air

The car isn't throwing any codes any more and seems to be running just fine now. I'm not really sure what happened.

I did run an obd2 diagnostic tool and looked up the code it gave me which turned out to be the overboost code

Didn't it just get warm again in your area?
