P1235 Code?

Hey guys. I have a 08 evo x gsr. Ok so it looks like I'm overboosting. I bought this car with the HKS ssqv bov that is NOT recirc its VTA and the injen intake piping. I put on a megan catback on it. It doesnt happen all the time its happened twice to me since i bought it in the fall. Does anyone know why I might be overboosting, i have a feeling its gonne be because of the BOV VTA but i dont see how vta's can cause overboosting. Can someone educate me? Thank you

Boost leak test should give you an answer if it hasn't been done already. the vta on a non sd car will just make it run like ****, over boost is usually there is something that needs to be checked. The p1235 is fuel pump out of range

And why would my fuel pump be out of range?

No clue I'm not the one thats throwing the code, I just looked it up in the p codes and thats what it says. Maybe the p 1235 is something different but thats what the obd2 codes say.

After looking more into the mitsu side of it, it infact says mas air flow sensor plausibilit. My bad on that one. This is from rre's website. Didn't realize that the x had different codes then everything else

The best advice I can give now is to get someone with a different mas and test it out and see if the code comes back. Or take it to the dealer and say wtf. At this point I woudln't say its a boost problem but more of the mas problem according to that code.

P1235 is air-flow related, but not necessarily due to boost. I'd say that the biggest problem is the vented BPV. Unless you are using speed-density, that's a very very bad idea. In any event, the way that venting can cause a P1235 is that the air is read by the MAF and then vented, making the MAF "see" a lot more air than is possible for you to be using given the rpm and throttle position. That throws the plausibility code.

Bring this thread up from the dead. Just got this code along with P0234 (Turbo Charger Overboost Condition). I got this code after changing my intake system back to stock and installing a Synapse DV recirc, pull mode, port B to vacum and port A to atmopsphere. Is the BOV setup causing me to overboost?
