Clutch Line Replace

Hey guys, so I just got myself an 08 GSR, used of course. The guy that had it before me had replaced the CMC with the Evo 9 CMC, but now the clutch line is leaking right before the connection at the CMC. I thought it would be a straight forward replace because it's just a braided steel line, wrong I was. The banjo bold on the Evo 9 CMC is basically touching the Brake Booster, and facing it. So there is almost no room to back the bolt out of the CMC, is there anyway to replace this line without having to remove the Brake Booster in the process?

Nope. It is super tight back there. The only other thing that may work would be to unbolt the clutch master cylinder from the dash side, unclip from the pedal, and try to maneuver the CMC out of the engine bay. Both options would be a PITA.

You can remove the line from the banjo bolt if you are only replacing the line.

I'm going to leave your two posts as separate, because they seem to say opposite things. Either the bolt can't be backed out without moving the CMC or it can. If it can't, then I don't see how you could remove the line, given that the bolt goes through the banjo connection.

I'm sorry. I assumed you had the AMS, where the line threads on to the banjo connection. If you have a line where the banjo fitting is incorporated, you cannot. I apologize for the confusion.

If you don't have the AMS, my second post is not applicable to you.
