Thinking of doing a manifold like the Full Race, Sakura, or maybe the cheaper Tomei?

My question is, will this net me 20-30 WHP or is it another 5-10 were talking? The last thing Id wanna do is spend $900 for 5-10 horse lol.

Also, any comments on which ones are the best or worst?

The Full-Race and CBRD ones typically make about 20-30whp with slight loss in turbo spool.

 

I have a pro-welder friend currently producing a tubular X manifold. The prototype is going on my car, but he is using some high quality stuff. His price will be a damn bit better than the full race with comparable pipe sizings. 1.5 schedule 10 pipe has 2" od. That is what he has said all the big names are using. PM me if you want more info

 

Ditch the AMS widemouth. Go with an ETS downpipe instead. The AMS downpipe is over priced and you won't see any gains.

 

the evo x platform responds quite nicely to manifold upgrade. not a waste of money at all. I have new coated AFI manifold I decided to part with.
