Throttle body
I did a bit of research on this. I wanted to max out the stock turbo and prepare for a modest upgrade simultaneously, and I had a list of mods (see my signature) so I went with the ported stock exhaust manifold, MAP Rev3 intake manifold and the 64mm TB because the 75mm won't bolt to a stock manifold, and the ones it will bolt to, are about $2000 and it's not a smart idea to use the big throttle body with smaller turbos. I just ordered the MAP EF 2.5 (I was going to go with the CBRD BBX Lite) and it's going to benefit greatly from the better flowing manifolds.
The TB itself doesn't do much for power gains, per se, but what it does do is hold boost. I gained 19whp on Kaizens's dyno with the two manis, tb, and fpr kit, but the boost comes on about 200 rpms sooner and the hp curve is flat. Butt dyno says the car pulls to redline instead of falling off (the TB & the GrimmSpeed EBC combined allow the car to hold boost all the way up) I have before and after dynos if you wanna see them.
