Big nightmare
Yea that suxs.. I would just take off the mods and the tune and just take it to the dealer and see what they say first then go into rebuild mode. I would also find a new tuner because at the end of the day if the tune was good this should not have happend. To bad you werent logging any data so you could see what happend..

Let the pure beauty of the above wash over you, dear reader. The first suggestion is to commit fraud. The second suggestion is to go find some new tuner against whom maybe the next attempt at fraud could be perpetrated.

Ok mister 3 digit iq grok troll somewhere else. People in here are trying to help...except u
Sorry this happened to you... It's stories like these that put fear in my mind and the reason I am still stock. Hope everything works out.
also, mitsu dealers have ripped off enough people that there's nothing wrong with looking at an opportunity to return the favor
why do people stan for corporations, you understand you're just one guy right? do you really think it's a matter of ethics to defend a brand?

Sounds like something is bad with your tune. Possibly your fuel pump relay is/was dead, which caused a lean conditions, and boom.
I have done pulls all winter long anywhere from 10 degrees or higher. No problem at all, but I know for a fact my tune is on point.
Also I would have absolutely zero remorse getting warranty work done if I was modded. Whats the worst case scenario, they deny you? Best case, you get a new engine.

yea I appreciate all ur opinions.... I think what im gona do is just get a built short block and have the shop put it in and call it a day... I thought about it and if I take all the mods off.... I HAVE to make sure all bolts are tight and look like they were never touched.... then have it towed to dealer, wait a yr and a day for them to examine it... then determine... then do another break in period with the stock block.... pay the performance shop to put the forged stuff in and tune it.. so it just seems cost effective to get the built shortblock and move on.... I just want my car back...
