Whats wrong with my car?

Hey last night I was beating the **** out of my car and yeah something happened. I was cruzing fast down a back road when I hear a "pop", after the pop felt like a lot of boost was lost. Its not just a little bit either like when im WOT right after to see whats up barley anything, but I still heard the turbo spinning but a kind of weird noise, not usual. Felt like an evo with no turbo I was probably driving like a noob

Happened during heavy acceleration? Could be a massive boost leak, or your car may have entered limp mode or something. Any codes thrown? I'd take it to Chad and have him see what's going on.

Yes it was during heavy acceleration. I did get some codes about the brakes but I could look for long and it did disappear.

Yeah chad isn't open today but hopefully tomorrow he can get me in, def wont be going to the dealership that's for sure lol. Where do most boost leaks come from, Ill have to check around the car?

Check all your intercooler piping, turbo inlet, etc. Anywhere that you can see a coupler connecting pipes. It's just an easy thing to check, tighten down the connections, and hope that it is that simple of an issue!

Had this issue when my mom was in town lol, as soon as I read that you heard a "pop" I knew it was a coupler. I have never seen a coupler with a hole in it though!
