Difference between Regular and Widemouth downpipe

Hey guys so i have a question. I'm trying to get an after market down pipe. I dont know what are the differences between widemouth or regular on stock turbo. I'm going on E85 soon as well and im trying to see if just to get the test pipe or both including the downpipe. Just dont know if its worth spending 500 on just the widemouth down pipe. Need your help guys

Find a used AMS widemouth, otherwise you will be replacing the other one and end up spending more

I have an ETS down pipe and a ETS high flow cat and it sounds awesome! But as far as power goes I don't think its gonna be a massive difference. But if your already going though the trouble of replaceing that cat you might as well just do the whole thing and get all you can out of it.

Only thing I have heard between the two from my tuner that he has seen widemouth tends to hold less boost then other compared to like the ETS with the wastegate recirc or dumped style DP since the turbulence in the widemouth but this was years ago not sure if things changed.
