First let me correct you it is not a turbo cat back. It is a turbo back exhaust which means you have changed your whole exhaust from the turbo to the back of the car. It also is called a TBE. A cat back means you changed the exhaust from the Cat to the rear of the car. Alot of people do go to a 3in when changing but it can be different sizes as well. Hope this helps.

no such thing as a turbo catback. A catback is from the cat to the muffler and varies in diameter of course. 2.5-3 inch was meant for turbo applications.

uhh A turbo back is an exhaust that goes from the turbo all the way back and the cat back starts from the cat. Catbacks aren't complete exhaust systems.

Harder to say O2 housing-back exhaust or O2HBE...

turbo back isnt really "legal" anywhere, it modifies the stock catalytic converter. in some states ya can get by with just a straight pipe and no cat at all, some ya need a hi-flow cat for the tail pipe sniffer. in CA though seems your probably SOL with the TBE. good luck though

if you get a high flow cat that is designed to pass california emissions standards (like the helix HF cat), then yes... if you run a test pipe (straight pipe that completely bypasses the catalytic converter) then you won't be legal in any state (just some states care a lot less than others)
