Ultimate Racing Downpipe Feedback

Does anyone have this downpipe?

I recently acquired an Ultimate Racing test pipe with a minumuffler and figure that a downpipe from UR would be good to make sure that both pieces fit correctly.

Is there any reason I shouldn't get this downpipe?

Ive seen like two threads, one about the downpipe breaking after 4 years or so and another about some weird gasket fitment but nothing else.

If it's just the down pipe then skip it as it'll net you 0 gains. The only downpipes that make more power are the ones that replace the 02 housing as well, especially a 02 dump downpipe. But like I said replacing just the downpipe it self will get you nothing

Well that's what I meant, I didn't think anyone bothered to NOT replace the O2 housing anymore.

More specifically I'm looking at the Long Down Pipe. I'm considering either getting this or possible even the Tomei one but haven't decided anything for sure yet.

Their test pipe should bolt up to the stock parts, so it should also bolt up to any aftermarket O2 eliminator down pipe. Their long down pipe looks nice. I've only installed the ETS equivalent, which I can say is also a very nice product.

Good to know. Wasn't sure if there were fitness issues.

At this point I'm just trying to see what the discernable difference between all the various 02 Eliminator downpipes are.

I know construction matters, but the gains don't really seem to be all that different between any of these products.

Best eliminator downpipes are MAP and ETS. I wanted ETS as the rest of my exhaust is ETS, but I got the MAP downpipe for $225 cheaper

All of the should bolt up as they "replicate" the OEM parts as least as far as where the flanges line up for the rest of the exhaust. As far as performance, they are probably all really close, so it comes down to which brand you want to run, and how much you're willing to pay. I think the ETS and MAP ones are $550-$600, but they have a better turbo flange. The open for the wastegate is contoured, and the shape of the wastegate "port" on the turbine housing, as opposed to just a hole.
