What is the point of this thread?

 

Do the basics: intake, exhaust, 3-port ebcs, gauges, tune. That should just about blow through it and anything left can be used for maintenance

 

Catback, test pipe, intake, ebcs, tune will blow your wad for this go around. Next I would take is a decent set of coilovers like the Ohlins RT's and wheels/tires.

 

2K for all that? What kind of parts are you talking about?





Get your suspension correct first and then move to the engine.
2K will take about 30sec to spend on these cars.

Not cheap junk. ETS V2 catback, ETS test pipe, ETS intake and rear section of the UICP, and Grimmspeed EBCS is $1789. You might be able to get 5-10% off depending on where you get it. Tune will be around $500.

 

All good suggestions if you're bone stock. Maybe wait for Memorial Day sales and blow it!

Recaros should be your first buy if you dont have them. Transforms the experience and they look a million times better.
Then springs , test pipe and a tune. probably get all that for 2k.
Dont expect to be happy stopping there though. money pit!
