However it was a below the belt shot to bring up a dudes blown engine. That was kind F'ed up as well. No one wants to have to go through that

Yeah lets stick to the facts, which only exist in either logs and/or a dyno that has an established EVO baseline (the actual car would be best).

I am most curious how this thing would perform at ludicrous boost levels, which I think is when the turbine would start to make sense (maybe).

As for razorlab's blown engine. I watched the vid. With that hungry of a fuel system, combined with a LONG high G left-hander it certainly appears the surge went dry and the AFR skyrocketed = boom. It wasn't a tune issue. Period.
Since that time radium engineering has come out with a nice venturi upgrade and fuel box that is sexy as heck.

Any updates??? I am nearing the 93 tune I think and once I get it done I will post up my logs. Then on to the e85 tune. Hopefully she performs a little better then

Hey guys, hadn't been able to do anything until yesterday since Chet had gotten into a major car accident that put him in the hospital. He was taking a break from tuning.

So we got on E85, and made the first WOT pull. There's something seriously wrong, because at only 23psi I'm at 121% IDC up top. I tried swapping fuel relays but nothing has worked so far.

I was battling high IDC on 93 as well. I'm using my phone but is there a way to post logs on here? I have one in my email that I'd like your guys' input on. Any suggestions on this would be great, I'm leaning toward defective injectors?

Just to re-iterate, I'm using Id1000 and a walbro 450. Even on pump gas I was hitting 93% up top. Chet seems to think there's an issue.

You can send it to me. PM me.

I'd start looking into return line blockage, etc

I want to say thanks to Razorlab. I am a prideful person, so I tend to get defensive. I appreciate you offering your help.

I am a massive idiot. FPR hose was hanging off, even with the ziptie it was blown off. I'm not sure how I overlooked this but it's been this way since we started tuning. Car is now so rich it breaks up under any boost.

My God. Feel free to flame me.

Meh. Sometimes it's the easy stuff. Be glad you found the answer sooner than later and it was cheap.

I honestly am not sure. I was so used to my fueling being sporadic and Chet tuning around it that I never thought twice.

The hose cracked apart when I went to put another zip tie on it. Will be going to O Reilly tomorrow to replace it and Chet will send me another ROM.

Razorlab helped me upload the latest log if anyone is interested:

Goes to show, you can never tune out a mechanical problem. Glad you got it resolved, and cheap as mentioned. I'm surprised nobody did a BLT prior to the tune. That leak would've come right up. Perhaps it's a good time to do one now, to see if there are any other boost leaks. I had a similar FPR hose issue as you (except mine was torn slightly) which wasn't visible, but a BLT prior to the dyno brought it out to light.

We're getting there! Car is still crazy rich and breaking up a little bit in the mid range. Feels good up top though. It's going to be fast(er) once we're through.

Here's the log: http://datazap.me/u/jemooney/e85-cav...g=0&data=16-19

Looking good man. Chet just finished my 93 tune on my cavalli setup. We ended up at 433/350 on 93 using VD and smoothing at 2. On to e85 to see what this thing can do now. Hoping to crack 500, hoping.
