Taking a chance - Cavalli BB Turbo
You sure are reactive for somebody that said they don't care.

"I'd be too if all I spouted out where false claims to try and cover up my lack of facts"
Again, welcome to the forum.
It was my impression that FP used to import a great deal from the UK (Owen Developments), and this was merely another example of that. At minimum, I suspect that all BB FP turbos were converted by Owen Developments, and I have thought this for quite some time.
...and more false claims. If you are referencing me (which I would imagine you are since you quoted me) that statement is 100% false and easily provable as so.

Wow this sort of blew up. I took more logs late last night, I will post them up late tonight when I get home from work, car spools to 24psi by 3850rpm. There really seems like something is up with the fuel system on my car. We're hitting 92% IDC on pump gas, and it's not making much over 400hp. Chet asked me to order a Walbro 450, so that's on the way from maperformance. Really hoping we can get to 450whp on E85 if we overclock the injectors. Not sure why I'm see such high duty cycle on ID1000's and pump gas currently.

So, your statement "a few months after buying it" is 100% false. Next.

I don't care how you claimed it broke. It did. Sorry, minor bolt ons. I'd still consider that a factory-style car in my book.
Tune isn't what made the motor fail, the amount of G forces in a high speed sweeping corner on a race track causing fuel starvation was the cause. In case you're not aware the X uses a saddle style tank. I won't bother explaining, you can research if you wish. But in a nut shell this would happen to your car as well...if it saw a road course. I race my Evo IX with NASA and can confirm the importance of a fuel surge tank

Hey guys, don't mean to interrupt the pissing match but can we get back on topic. I know this isn't the best turbo and that's obvious but lets get back to discussing it. Logs would be nice so we can gather some conclusive evidence. I did some pulls last night. I will try post mine up later. But I can tell you I am not reaching peak boost until about 4600. And with the high temps and humidity in SWFL power isn't great at all. Built engine only making about 400hp with a correction factor of 3 on VDyno. And I really don't want to be that guy but razorlab you started off being harsh on this dude. I mean we get it. The turbo sucks compared to others. However I understand he hasn't backed up his claim yet, but ****, lets lighten up and get back to what this turbo is capable of. Enough tit for tat.
