I didn't claim it spooled the same as an MHI, as I've never driven nor ridden in one. I said that I've seen spool at 3800, in my car.

And yes I will grab another log this evening and post it.

Okay, look forward to it. Currently your vdyno plot is in sync with ER's dynojet plot of the same turbo you posted earlier, 700-800rpm slower spool than a MHI.

Right now, your data backs up what I stated my experience has been, which was the turbo is too laggy for the power output.

I'm perfectly happy to be where I am on power so far, considering this is my first WOT map on 17* of timing @ rev limiter.

Need to look at boost where they made peak power. Both tapered to 23ish psi.

If OP is okay with the turbo not performing as well as "this" turbo or "that" turbo, considering the price, I think that's okay.

Hot and humid day here in IL, so I'm pleased thus far. Seeing full spool as early as 3800, I floored it late in this log as you can see. Seems comparable to many MHI 18k's so far. Still on 93 and slowly turning it up. We're going to run out of fuel though, already past 85% IDC at high rpm, so I'll need to order a fuel pump at the least before E85. Stay tuned.

So you're hitting 26psi with this turbo at 4400rpm it looks like. On my 18k I hit 26psi at 3550rpm. Getting the full 30psi at 3750rpm

Had he started at 2600rpm maybe better?

Doubt it. Look at the graph JericM posted. Hits at about the same RPM, starting the run much earlier.

Which one?
The graph he posted from English looks to start at the normal 2500rpm (hard to see on my phone).

His graph shows his run starting at a much later RPM. It would surely spool faster had he started at 2500rpm instead of 3600.

Not really. My car spools mostly the same if you go WOT below 3800-4k.

That's what I'm saying. Even though one run started from MUCH earlier, they both hit boost in roughly the same spot. Granted there might be a SLIGHT difference, but it won't be enough to really matter.

If I punch it in 3rd at 2500 or 3500 I can guarantee I'll be hitting ~25psi at roughly the same spot.

I agree with these statements. If you take this into effect there is a 850rpm difference when his Cavalli Turbo his 26psi compared to when my 18k hits 26psi

Wow this sort of blew up. I took more logs late last night, I will post them up late tonight when I get home from work, car spools to 24psi by 3850rpm. There really seems like something is up with the fuel system on my car. We're hitting 92% IDC on pump gas, and it's not making much over 400hp. Chet asked me to order a Walbro 450, so that's on the way from maperformance. Really hoping we can get to 450whp on E85 if we overclock the injectors. Not sure why I'm see such high duty cycle on ID1000's and pump gas currently.
