Anyone have experience with BAD oil burning smoke? What was it?

I'd run a compression test to start, that'll help determine if its one of the rings. The turbo seals very well could be bad, its not as common, but it does happen.

Compression test for sure, then turbo pipe test.

What color smoke, what does it smell like. Sweet like coolant and oil are mixing> ?
